How does the Lovense app work, and do I need an account to use it?

The free Lovense app is available on iOS and Android. It connects to your toy via Bluetooth, letting you control vibration patterns, intensity, and custom sequences from your phone. For long-distance play, both partners download the app and connect through the internet, so one person can control the toy from anywhere in the world. You do need to create a free Lovense account to unlock the long-distance and sync features, though basic local Bluetooth control works without logging in.

Are Lovense toys body-safe?

Yes. All Lovense insertable and wearable toys are made from 100% body-safe, non-porous silicone. Hard external components use ABS plastic. Neither material contains phthalates, latex, or BPA, and because silicone is non-porous it does not harbour bacteria between uses. What type of lubricant should I use with Lovense toys?

Use a good quality water-based lubricant with any Lovense silicone toy. Silicone-based lubricants can degrade the surface of silicone toys over time, which may affect both feel and hygiene. Water-based lube is safe, easy to clean up, and compatible with all materials in the Lovense range.

How do I clean and care for my Lovense toy?

Because Lovense toys are waterproof, cleaning is simple. After each use, wash the toy with warm water and a toy-safe antibacterial cleanser or a dedicated sex toy cleaner, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry before storing. Do not submerge the charging port area for extended periods even though the toy is waterproof. Store in a clean pouch or the original packaging, away from other silicone items to prevent material interaction.

Will my order be shipped discreetly?

Absolutely. All orders from The Sex Shed are dispatched in plain, unmarked packaging with no indication of the contents on the outside. The billing descriptor on your bank or card statement is also discreet, so your privacy is protected from checkout through to delivery.
