Unboxing
The retail packaging itself immediately sent me hurtling back to the 90s. Between the yellow to orange gradient and the paint scratch graphics, I could practically hear Vanilla Ice playing in the distance. Whether that's nostalgia or a traumatic flashback to middle school is up for debate.
The front of the box features an image of the Dizi along with the ROMP logo and product name. Around the sides you'll find the usual information including measurements, material details, and a few suggestions on how the toy can be used.
Opening the box reveals the Dizi sitting in a molded plastic tray alongside a quick start guide, safety information, compliance paperwork, and everyone's favorite thing, some slightly suggestive stickers.

Measurements and material
The packaging states that the Dizi is made from body safe silicone.
In terms of size, the toy measures approximately 7.25 inches in total length, with around 6.5 inches of usable insertable length. The shaft features a gentle curve ending in a slightly rounded head, while a secondary bump sits along the underside of the shaft.
The coloration transitions from peach to orange to pink. Interestingly, those color transition points can actually be felt with your fingertips, creating subtle raised ridges in the silicone.
The head measures roughly 4 inches in circumference before expanding slightly to about 4.25 inches at the secondary bump. From there the toy remains fairly consistent in diameter down to the base.
One thing that stood out immediately was the firmness. The silicone has very little give throughout most of the shaft. There is some flexibility, but this is definitely on the firmer side of the spectrum. The exception is the bottom couple of inches, where the internal cavity designed to fit the ROMP Riot bullet vibrator (not included) creates a softer section that compresses much more easily under pressure.

Romp Dizi Features
The Dizi includes a built in cavity intended to house a ROMP Riot bullet vibrator. The chamber measures approximately 2 inches deep and 1 inch wide.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to properly test this feature. My usual vibration candidates were either too narrow or too wide. My Lovense Exomoon couldn't make sufficient contact with the chamber walls, while my Lovense Hush 2 XS simply wasn't going to fit without violating several laws of physics.

The other major feature is the suction cup base.
Measuring roughly 2.75 inches in diameter, it provides a solid hold on smooth surfaces. During testing it successfully lifted a four pound sheet of glass without breaking suction, which is honestly more than I expected. The base size also makes the Dizi compatible with many strap on harnesses, which feels like one of the more practical applications for this particular toy.

How to use the ROMP Dizi
Using the Dizi is about as straightforward as sex toys get.
Start with adequate warm up, especially because of the toy's firmer construction. Once you're ready, attach the suction cup to your preferred surface or secure it in a compatible harness.
Apply a generous amount of water based lubricant to both yourself and the toy.
From there it's simply a matter of finding a comfortable position and taking things at your own pace. The pronounced firmness means patience pays off, particularly during initial insertion.
My experience

At first glance, the Dizi looks fairly simple. After spending time with it, I'd say that assessment is mostly accurate, though there are a few details worth discussing.
The firm head definitely benefits from some preparation before diving straight into the deep end. A little teasing and warm up went a long way toward making insertion more comfortable.
While the suction cup itself is strong, I ran into an unexpected issue during testing. It stayed attached to my testing chair just fine, but it had a tendency to rotate and wander around slightly as I tried to position myself. The cup wasn't failing, but the toy seemed determined to make me work for the perfect angle.
For anal use, I found the most comfortable insertion angle was with the curve facing away from the body. Your mileage may vary, but that orientation felt the most natural during testing.
The secondary bump on the shaft ended up being my favorite feature. Every pass created a pleasant little ripple of sensation that added some character to an otherwise straightforward shape. On the other hand, those raised ridges created by the color transitions completely disappeared during use. I could feel them with my fingers, but my backside apparently considered them irrelevant.
The softer section near the base, created by the bullet cavity, does compress somewhat under body pressure. Thankfully it never felt unstable or distracting during use, and I wouldn't consider it a negative.
My biggest limitation with this review is the vibration feature. My toy collection has grown to the point where certain categories get buried in storage, and standalone bullets happen to be one of those casualties. Since my available options didn't fit the chamber properly, I wasn't able to evaluate vibration transfer or determine how much the feature adds to the overall experience.
Without the vibration component, the Dizi comes across as a simple, firm, moderately sized silicone toy with a pleasant secondary bump and a versatile base. At around $37, I could especially see it finding a home as a harness toy, where the firm construction and manageable dimensions feel particularly well suited.
