We stock products made from materials that meet recognised body-safety standards. Look for items labelled as medical-grade silicone, borosilicate glass, stainless steel, or ABS plastic. These are non-porous, meaning they do not absorb bacteria or bodily fluids, and they are free from phthalates and other additives that can irritate sensitive tissue. If a material is not listed clearly on a product page, please contact us and we will find out for you before you buy.
Cleaning method depends on the material. Non-motorised items made from silicone, glass, or stainless steel can be boiled, run through a dishwasher on the top rack without detergent, or wiped with a 10 percent bleach solution and rinsed thoroughly. Motorised or electronic products should be cleaned with a dedicated toy cleaner or mild soap and warm water, taking care not to submerge any charging ports or battery compartments. Always allow products to dry completely before storing them in a breathable pouch or their original packaging, away from direct sunlight and other toys that could react with the material.
Water-based lubricant is the safest choice across all product types and is particularly important with silicone products, as silicone-based lubricants can degrade silicone surfaces over time. If you are using glass or stainless steel items, both water-based and silicone-based lubricants are compatible. Avoid oil-based lubricants if latex barriers are involved, as oil breaks down latex. When in doubt, a quality water-based lube is always a reliable starting point.
Start with your comfort level and curiosity, not with what looks most advanced. For most categories, beginner-friendly products are smaller in size, simpler in function, and designed to help you understand your own responses without overwhelm. Read the product descriptions carefully for guidance on who a product is designed for. It is also worth taking your time: your needs and preferences may shift as you become more familiar with a product type, so beginning at a moderate level leaves you room to explore further.
